Philippines Best Workplaces™ Insights Report 2021

Spring is the season of new beginnings, a chance to renew from the lessons and struggles of the year gone by.

Yet, the year that passed was unlike any other. 2020 blew a string of calamities and a global pandemic that brought the world to its knees and the Philippines was not spared from its wrath. In fact, hundreds of thousands lost their jobs, many businesses were closed, and many lives were changed. What is certain is this – the past year was difficult to recover from, and we are none closer to spring in its aftermath.

But we all yearn for Hope, and that abounds in the Philippines. Resilience. Spirit. Community. These are the unique qualities that often describe Filipinos, whether they be in the motherland or overseas. And for this reason, we continue to celebrate the Heroes that embody these special traits, and whose compassion and determination have pulled us through the toughest of times.

Great Place to Work® Philippines is proud to Honor the Heroism of Filipino Workers and Employers.

Despite the challenges we faced, many chose to rise from the ashes of 2020 and carried on supporting their companies, providing for their families, and even helping their neighbours, friends, and countrymen in need. The reward these heroes seek is not for themselves, but to see everyone around them, especially those they hold dear, thrive.

The struggles are far from over, but by bringing to light the Philippines Best Workplaces™ 2021, we wish to impart and remind the values that have carried us through the seasons of change – care, trust, respect, camaraderie, and love. May these continue to bind us together and tide us through what lies ahead.

To our Filipino workplace heroes, this is for you.
