About the Speaker
Gladys Zafra is a Certified Human Resource Professional® by the International Federation of Professional Managers. She has been an HR Professional for 15 years and has achieved a successful corporate and leadership career in Human Capital Management, focusing on the vital components of Employee Life Cycle and Human Resources Business Partnership. These components include: Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Organization Development, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Total Rewards and Exit Management. Kick-starting her career in human capital consulting from top global management consulting firms, she conducted Business Planning, Organization Development & Talent Studies, Performance Management, Competency Profiling Reviews and Salary Reviews to various multi-national and local organizations. She began her line HR career in Total Rewards Strategies, Employee Engagement and HR Business Partnership served as a foundation to further strengthen her foundation in line HR field. She had leadership and management Human Resources roles in various organizations from the express, freight & logistics and financial industries. She was a college professor, on a part-time basis, wherein she taught Human Resources, Compensation & Benefits and Selected Topics on International Business. She also had speaker engagements on Change Management, Total Rewards Management and Employee Engagement. She is married with two children.

ABOUT OUR METHOLOGY​

To be eligible for the World’s Best Workplaces list, a company must apply and be named to a minimum of 5 national Best Workplaces lists within our current 58 countries, have 5,000 employees or more worldwide, and at least 40% of the company’s workforce (or 5,000 employees) must be based outside of the home country. Extra points are given based on the number of countries where a company surveys employees with the Great Place to Work Trust Index©, and the percentage of a company’s workforce represented by all Great Place to Work surveys globally. Candidates for the 2017 Worlds Best Workplaces list will have appeared on national workplaces lists published in September 2016 through August 2017.
