Sales Lead

We are growing our sales team, and have a  Sales Lead position open in our organization. Your main role will be to speak with organizations interested in our Great Place to Work Certified distinction and our Best Workplaces lists/awards. You’ll be backed by a team of marketing specialists, who will provide you with inbound, qualified leads, in addition to the leads that you generate. Your main goal will be to quickly close these deals and add as many clients as possible to the Great Place to Work customer community.

The right candidate is a driven and determined individual, dedicated to meeting and exceeding targets – never bored by repetitive conversations, but instead excited by the possibility of ongoing, frequent sales wins. You’ll ideally have:

  • 4+ years B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS.
  • A proven track record of success. You hold yourself accountable to meeting your targets, and even set personal BHAGs for yourself to go above and beyond what’s expected of you.
  • Excellent customer service skills. You’re a true sales professional who understands that customers are buying you as much as they are buying our product (as amazing as it is!).
  • A desire to develop. You want to grow your sales career at an established and well-respected organization, and are eager to learn.
  • Technically savvy and with working knowledge of the Microsoft® Office® suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident and interacts with people in a professional manner.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable to work and deliver results independently.

You are an advocate on behalf of Great Place to Work® customers and take a team-based approach on enabling our customers to experience the value of Emprising™ (our employee experience survey and culture management tool), Great Place to Work Certification® and List participation, our research and our Great Place to Work community.

The Customer Success Associate is responsible for overall customer well-being by supporting customers to set up and maximize the features of their survey platform, act as a connection point to our research and events and interact with our List business to ensure that customers can take full advantage of the value proposition of our brand partnership.

You are responsible for building client relationships that foster retention, and increased use of and participation in the Great Place to Work community. You also play an integral role in the on-boarding and client adoption of Emprising™, our employee experience survey and culture management tool.

We are looking for the right people to join our GPTW team in our Philippines office:

  • Who are curious about people and enjoy applying what they learn to creating a great experience for our customers;
  • Who like to ask questions seeking to get a clear understanding of a customer’s needs and working tirelessly to pre-empt them;
  • Who can continuously exercise great judgement in prioritizing their client load and with clear expectations from leadership can thrive on managing a portfolio of clients;
  • Who are able to think strategically about how to address client needs and are also strong in execution;
  • Who are comfortable in ambiguity and a self-starter who takes ownership of a problem and can see it through to its conclusion by leaning on the strong relationships built with peers and across functions;
  • Who are able-focused on getting a satisfactory outcome for all of our clients while thinking about how we can replicate that experience as we scale.

Key Responsibilities and Job Activities

  • Serves as a Trusted Advisor and informs clients of the value and opportunities Great Place to Work offers Is an expert of all Great Place to Work products and services
  • Understands clients’ needs in order to frame Emprising’s value in a way that supports clients’ goals for working with Great Place to Work
  • Owns a portfolio of high-touch accounts which includes on-boarding, advising, training and checking in with clients to ensure platform adoption
  • Listens for areas of dissatisfaction and improvement, and relays that information to the Product Team, Account Managers, as well as the rest of the organization for continuous learning and improvement.  
  • Proactively provides updates and relevant information on product changes/updates, bugs, GPTW Events/Research/Recognition program to clients   
  • Listens for and elevates opportunities to expand partnership through upsells and cross-selling to Account Manager  
  • Occasional after hours on-call work and travel may be required

Experience Requirements

  • Education/Formal Training: BA or BS required; advanced degree a plus (MBA, Positive org. psych, I/O psych, OD/OB)
  • Minimum 4 years of professional work experience focused on Customer Experience/ Success
  • Proven growth within a start-up a plus
  • Excellence in building client relationships virtually
  • Demonstrated teamwork and client management skills; must be a team player
  • Demonstrated success in managing conflicts and deadlines
  • Comfortable with project management across multiple teams and work streams
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a virtual team environment
  • Comfortable with data analysis in Excel
  • Proficient in Microsft Office Suite, plus a desire and willingness to learn new applications
  • Strong written and communication skills
